Keith Collects his MBE
Article posted: Jun 13, 2010 by Sqn Ldr RichardsKeith Savage, a member of the Civilian Committee at 2248 (Rutland) Squadron, South & East Midlands Wing, who is an ex-Warrant Officer (ATC) has recently collected his MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) from HRH Prince Charles during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Keith was awarded an MBE in the 2010 New Years Honours List in recognition for his services to the Air Training Corps and voluntary work in his local community over the last 40 years.

Accompanying Keith to Buckingham Palace was his wife Ann and their daughter Lynda and her husband James.
On receipt of the award, Keith commented “I consider this award as a real honour for 2248 (Rutland) Sqn ATC and I feel very privledged to be recognised in this way”.
