Kettering Air Cadet greets a Royal visitor

A young Warrant Officer from Kettering Air Cadets moved in Royal circles recently and was lucky enough to meet the Duke of York at a prestigious opening ceremony.

Cadet Warrant Officer Haylee Widdall was appointed a Northamptonshire Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet last year and as part of her official duties was on hand during the opening of Booth Lane Campus of Northampton College last month.

Haylee said: “I was honoured to be representing Kettering Air Cadets at the opening and showing the Duke of York that the ATC is such a valuable organisation.”
