Kettering Cdts Thank local communty for generous donations

Young people from Kettering Air Cadets have expressed their thanks to local residents for their support at Kettering Carnival on Saturday (18th).

Cadets were on hand showcasing their first aid skills, handing out information about the Air Cadets and selling raffle tickets on the day. Thanks to the generosity of local people they raised over £230 for the Northampton Road Squadron.

Squadron commanding officer, Flight Lieutenant Guy Slack, said: “We were delighted by the response we got at the carnival this year. Cadets were very well received and the people of Kettering were generous in their donations to us.

“As a charity any support we receive from the public is greatly appreciated so I would like to express my sincere thanks to people for donating on Saturday.”
