Last Month Cadets and Staff from 2070 (Glenfield) Squadron braved the rain and cold weather to help in manning one of the many water stops on the route of this years Leicester Marathon.
This has now become a regular event for the Squadron, who have successfully helped out in previous years.
There were lots of runners of all ages and abilities and also running not only for themselves but for charity. It gives the Squadron tremendous pride that in some small way we are helping those who run for charity, supporting the many worthy causes.
Despite the bitter cold and rain, Cadets were said to enjoy the day and look forward to helping out again next year.
