South & East Midlands Wing Llanbedr 2008

On the 12th of July we left from Nottingham with a seven hour journey ahead of us to Llanbedr in Wales. We had a few stops along the way to pick up people and in total we had 21 cadets from South and East Midlands and one from Trent Wing (AKA Trent Boy). Although it took ages to arrive at our destination, it was an opportunity to get to know the people we were going to be spending the next week with.
We did a variety of exercises then kept us entertained for most of the day and got the adrenaline pumping! The most memorable ones being the Leap of Faith, climbing Snowdon, Jacob’s Ladder, Kayaking, high ropes course and freefalling (this one being scary but fun!).
The camp was great for having a laugh and making friends that will not easily be forgotten, whilst trying things that you would not normally get the chance to do.
Llanbedr was an amazing camp and I will definitely go again and I know I am not the only one.
