Long Eaton Air Cadets at the Rotary Club Family Fun Day

On 27 August, cadets and staff helped host the Rotary Club Fun Day at West Park in Long Eaton. The Staff and Cadets put up on a short obstacle course for people to have a try at, which attracted mainly young kids. This caused a bit of drama for the local Tesco workers at the start of the day who took a go and ended up unfortunately stuck under the camo netting.

Alongside the cadets there were other stalls ranging from sports, a bouncy castle and even a chance to win a holiday in Europe for up to seven people. As the event came to a close at 1600 the draw was done to see who won the holiday.

Cadet Corporal Ethan Bates said “This event was quite fun just watching people have as much fun we have and also showing people an insight to what the Air Cadets do!”
