Long Eaton Air Cadets go climbing!

On the 14th of April, Long Eaton Air Cadets took a trip down to Alter Rock Climbing Centre, in Derbyshire, for a night of climbing, high ropes and abseiling.

The night was a lot of fun and every Cadet managed to push themselves, whether that meant climbing the wall only using one colour, or simply trusting themselves that they are able to climb halfway up the wall.

The cadets were split into three groups and performed rotations of each activity. During the activities some Cadets had to face and conquer their fear in height, whilst others had to support and encourage the Cadets that were doing this.

Cadet Lani Diggle said “I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again”.

Overall the night was extremely fun and a great success, all Cadets should be proud of what they achieved.
