Early on Saturday, Cadets from Long Eaton Air Cadets were out on the streets of Long Eaton raising money for the Royal British Legion for the poppy appeal.

Many cadets came along to help out and over the day, the cadets went to various places, such as Asda, Tesco, Aldi and the war memorial.

Cadet Sergeant Craig Harrison said “It was a great day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A little help will hopefully raise a lot of money to help remember the heroes of the past as well as the soldiers of today.”
