On the 13th September, 6 Cadets from 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron Air Training Corps attended the flying session at RAF Cranwell.
Cadet Warrant Officer Rebecca Parr, Cadet Sergeant Nicole Walker, Cadet Corporal Ethan Bates, Cadets Bradley Scriven, Logan McNamara and Aidan Poole each took turns in the pilot seat.

Cadets arrived to undergo a flying brief and to watch a video about flying in a Grob Tutor showing both how to equip yourself and what to do in an emergency situation.

This was Cadet Poole’s first time flying in the Grob Tutor and he said “I enjoyed this day so much it was one of my best experiences in cadets and would recommend it to anyone”

But for the cadets who had been many times before, they got to do Aerobatics which can range from barrel rolls, loop the loop and stall turns.
