Long Eaton Cadets attend Civic Service

Cadets from 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron were invited to attend the recent Annual Civic Service held at St Laurence Church in Long Eaton.

The service which was conducted by The Reverend Barbara Holbrook, Mayor’s Chaplain and The Reverend Simon Ellis, Vicar of St Laurence Church and 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron’s Chaplain.

In attendance at the service, was the Mayor of Erewash; Councillor Terry Holbrook and local ministers of Long Eaton Churches Fellowship, music was provided by Long Eaton Silver Prize Band.

The guard of honour was made up of Air, Army, and Sea Cadets from the Long Eaton area. The 2195 (Long Eaton) Sqn banner party was made up of CWO Chris Leese, Sgt Stan Readyhoof, and Cpl Katie Elam.

After the Service the CO of 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron, Flt Lt Jack Stepanian and Cadets were invited back to Mayfield House for the Mayor’s reception.
