Over thirty Cadets and Staff form 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron attended this years’ Air Training Corps Sunday held at St Laurence Church in Long Eaton. The excellent service was led by Vicar Simon Ellis, who is also 2195 Squadrons’ Padre.

The service included Readings, Hymns and Communion which many of the Cadets took, in addition, a sermon was also read by Padre John Coyne who is an ex Royal Air Force Padre.
After the service, Cadets were invited by Padre Simon Ellis to attend tea and biscuits held in the church hall with the congregation.

Ex 2195 Sqn OC, Flt Lt Roy Smith RAF VR (T) Ret’d, who also attended the service said that it was one of the best turn-outs by the Squadron that he had seen for many years.
Officer in Charge of 2195 Sqn, Plt Off Jack Stepanian added “it was great to see so many Cadets attending the service, especially in spite of the cold and severe weather conditions that we have been experiencing lately”.
