Cadets from 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron have recently assisted the Erewash Branch of the RAFA at their Annual Band Concert at Trent College.
Cadets were invited to assist RAFA members with car parking duties, seating of disabled members and running the refreshments bar.

Wing Commander Phil Giles OBE RAFVR (T) Ret’d, Vice Chairman of the RAFA Erewash Branch said “The efforts of 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron was greatly appreciated and it was good to see so many young people doing the work that many of our members can no longer undertake, in particular the Cadets who managed the bar worked very hard over a long period of time and did an outstanding job for us.”
The event is one of several RAFA initiatives that 2195 (Long Eaton) Sqn support during the year to maintain and strengthen their long serving relationship enjoyed with the RAF Erewash Branch.
