On Sunday 7th February, 2195 (Long Eaton) squadron ATC and 1360 (Stapleford and Sandiacre) squadron ATC attended the St Lawrence church parade to celebrate ATC Sunday.

This year marks the 75th anniversary since the formation of the Air Training Corps on 5th February 1941, an occasion celebrated across the country.

Cadets congregated outside the church at 0910, welcoming all attendees of the service that began at 0930 and ended at 1100. Hymns were sung and the collection was manned by four cadets.
The squadron flag was raised by Cadet Warrant Officer Damien Simpson, lowered and presented for the national anthem. He said “It truly was an honour to represent the squadron at this important event”
