Cadet Jasmine Woolhouse, aged 15, spent her Sunday with other cadets from around South and East Midlands Wing as they represented the Wing at the Central and East Region Inter-Wing Athletics Competition. Cadet Woolhouse was selected for the Wing team after her success at the South and East Midlands Wing Inter-Squadron Athletics Competition where she came first in her category for the Long Jump event.

Cadet Woolhouse was chosen to represent South and East Midlands Wing in the Junior Women’s Long Jump competition and as part of the Junior Women’s Relay team at the Inter-Wing competition, held in Bedford. All of the South and East Midlands Wing team put in a fantastic effort and Cadet Woolhouse managed to come 5th in the long jump and 3rd in the relay, meaning that she could proudly leave the competition as one of the medal winners of the day. There were even more successes as South and East Midlands Wing came first overall.

After a long but successful day, Cadet Woolhouse remarked, “Today was an amazing experience and an honour to represent South and East Midlands Wing. Thank you for all the support.”
