Molly assists at Melton

Over the past few weeks, our very own Cadet Warrant Officer Molly Henson has been travelling to our friends over at 1279 (Melton Mowbray) Squadron to lend a helping hand to their NCO Team.

Molly has worked mostly with the two current cadet SNCO’s on the Squadron, helping them further their knowledge on how to be a successful SNCO by giving them hints, tips and one to one mentoring. Molly has also assisted in classroom activities and given the younger cadets the chance to get to know a Cadet Warrant Officer as many of them haven’t met one before!

Molly will continue to work closely with the Squadron and the NCO Team over the coming months to aid their development.

CWO Henson commented “I love doing stuff like this; passing on my knowledge and experience to others is something I take great pride in doing. Melton have got a great set up going on and I hope that I can help them in just a small way by doing this mentoring. It also helps me out with my continued progression and learning by seeing how another Squadron operates. Thank you to Flying Officer McGlynn for asking me to assist and to all the staff and cadets for making me feel very welcome whilst I’m at the Squadron!”

Molly also managed tonight to add a little orange colour to final parade by pinning a #topsontour to the wall at the front of the parade…
