More Wing Blues for 1360 Squadron

As 1360 (Stapleford and Sandiacre) Squadron have shown their ability in sports this year the achievement was finally awarded to the cadets that had represented the squadron. Corporal Jade Cox (14) and Corporal Shannon Conway (15) received their wing blue badges to show how they had represented South and East midlands wing in the junior girl’s hockey and junior girl’s netball.

Each time the sporty pair represents the wing they will receive these badges to proudly show off. We as a squadron are really proud of our Corporals for their efforts and taking up their weekends to show what their made of. We hope to push more of our new recruits to follow in their footsteps and achieve as many wing blues as they can. It has been a tremendous few months for the squadron when achieving high in the sports area. We are looking forward to the rest of the year bring on some more sports stars to represent the squadron!

Corporal Jade Cox Said: “I love representing the squadron and I also love playing netball, nothing is going to stop me representing the squadron and wing in the future.”
