The Long Eaton Air Cadets welcomed a new Cadet into their squadron on Tuesday 12th May. Cadet Daniel McLernon, aged 13, who joined us towards the end of last year, completed his Passing Out Parade in front of his family and fellow cadets.

He has been part of the Training Flight led by Cadet Sergeant Nicole Walker, whilst in the Training Flight he has learnt various skills that will equipped him in his Air Cadet career. Sergeant Walker said “I was incredibly proud of Cadet McLernon tonight he did very well and looked very smart in front of his parents. I have really enjoyed working with all the Cadets in this Training Flight, and look forward to what they can achieve in the future.”

If you are interested in joining the Long Eaton Air Cadets, and want to get involved in some of the activities we do, or know someone who would. We are holding an open evening on the Thursday 18th June, for more information please get in touch with the Squadron.
