1188 (Coalville) Sqn, Air Training Corps has a new Officer in Charge.
Last week Pilot Officer Rod Dring RAF VR (T) was appointed by the Wing Staff as the new Officer in Charge of the Squadron. He was previously serving as a Pilot Officer at 2229 (Loughborough) Squadron. Pilot Officer Rod Dring is local and looking forward to commanding the Squadron.
He takes over from Flying Officer Rebekah Harrison who was temporarily looking after the Squadron after Flight Lieutenant Clive Williams stood down earlier this year.

Pilot Officer Rod Dring RAF VR (T) said, “I am honoured and delighted to accept the offer on command. 1188 Squadron is a fantastic squadron with a great spirit and I look forward to working with the staff to give the cadets the very best”.
