Nottingham Air Cadets learn to survive

30 Cadets from 504 (West Nottingham) Squadron & 1360 (Stapleford & Sandiacre) Squadron, Air Cadets recently braved the October cold as they camped at Johns Lee Wood Scout Camp in Leicestershire

The Adventure Training Weekend – staffed by 8 instructors from both squadrons – including a member of the RAF Regiment – Senior Aircraftsman Craig Wells.

The Activities covered over the weekend included a Night Exercise, Day Exercise, Rope Crossing (Flt Lt Munns (Officer Commanding 1360 Sqn) Speciality), Casevac, Camouflage and Concealment with SAC Wells (15 Sqn RAF Regiment), Living in the field lessons (fire building, cooking, shelters, etc)

Despite the cold weather the Cadets enjoyed the camping element to the weekend.
