The idea of the presentation was instigated by CI Mike Phillipson to help create awareness of the sport and to support David, who lives locally in Bingham, in his bid for a Medal at the forthcoming Paralympics in London, next year (2012).

The presentation covered all aspects of the sport including its initial beginnings in the USA, the international tennis tour, specialised wheel chairs, rules and its participation within the Grand Slams such as Wimbledon.

David was thanked by OC Flt Lt J. Hudson on behalf of the Squadron and wished him well for 2012.
