Tonight saw the return of Staff from 209 (West Bridgford) Squadron after the much needed Christmas break.

Feeling a lot more refreshed the Staff spent the evening knocking their heads together arranging dates for activities and have finished the evening with an already fun filled, packed diary for the year of 2015.

With many more activities booked than a busy 2014 saw, the Staff at 209 are thrilled and excited to get started with the plans so far.

2015 will see a mixture of Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions, Sports competitions, the annual Wing Field Day competition, local charity and Squadron fund raisers, Adventure Training Camps, Shooting events, local recruitment days, Squadron projects, World War 2 re-enactments, and of course the biggest event of 2015 – the grand opening of our new Joint Cadet Centre!! Phew!

Cadets will be parading at Gresham Pavilion from Thursday 8th January, all waiting extremely patient for the unit to be opened.
