Three cadets from 138 (1st Nottingham) Squadron Air Training Corps were recently recognized for their hard work and dedication to the Squadron. On Thursday 5th December 2013, Cadet Corporal Daniel Bradley was promoted to the rank of Sergeant with Cadets Harrington and Shariff promoted to the rank of Cadet Corporal. All three presented with their new tapes by Deputy Lord Lieutenant Tom Huggan.
All the promotions were a result of the cadets being evaluated during a series of leadership exercises conducted on the Squadron and after taking on more duties on Parade nights. The cadets also all received very positive and encouraging reports after attending a recent JNCO course at RAF Wittering. The role of both Sergeant and Corporal means that the three cadets will be given more responsibility and will see them take a leading role in the development and mentoring of more junior cadets in the Squadron.
