RAF Regiment Gunner & Combat Medic presents 5F trophies

It was great to welcome back Matt Daly, an ex 5F cadet, who was one of the many guests attending the Squadron annual awards evening on Monday 17th December.
Matt is currently serving with the RAF in No2 Regiment as a Gunner and Combat Medic and has completed several tours including two of Afghanistan.

During his last tour he combined both roles whilst working on the MERT helicopters.
Until he left to join the RAF, Matt was a founder member of the Squadron first aid team that began competing successfully from 2007 onwards. He has openly said since, that it was as a result of the first aid training received at 5F, he was able to go on and deal with the role of combat medic.

In view of his current role within the RAF, it was apt that Matt agreed to present the First Aid and Shooting trophies at the Awards evening.
