Rebecca gets her Warrant

Long Eaton Air Cadet, Rebecca Parr (18) has been promoted to Cadet Warrant Officer, the elite rank all cadets aspire to.

After an interview with Officer Commanding South & East Midlands Wing, Wing Commander Nigel Dickinson, Rebecca was told she had been success full and was presented with her “crowns” on the Squadron’s Final Parade.

“This is my ambition realised. I have always aimed to become a Cadet Warrant Officer and now I have achieved it. I now have a fresh set of targets and want to make the most of what the Air Cadet Organisation offers but also be of benefit to the Squadron that has given me so much” said Rebecca

Rebecca has been in a member of 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron for five years and is one of only a handful of Qualified Aerospace Instructors in the whole of the Organisation. She is always prominent in both planning for and training of the cadets. This promotion has been well earned and deserved.
