Thursday 25th June saw the 126 Rifle Drill Display team perform to their consistently high standards at the RAF Wittering Officers Dining In Night.
Alongside the team was 1084 – Market Harborough Squadron Air Training Corps Band who were particularly fantastic and really put maximum effort into their performance. Their tweet even got “favourited” on Twitter by Commandant Air Cadets
The fly past was a formation of four Grob Tutors followed by a lone Spitfire.
Cadet Sergeant Jack Perry, who is the longest serving member of the team, said, “It was a fantastic experience for us all to show serving members of the RAF what we can do and at such an important event in the Officer’s calendar- we were really proud. It was a good opportunity for us to meet RAF Wittering’s new Station Commander who was very complimentary.”
The team are looking forward to their trip to RAF Northolt to spend a day training with the Queen’s Colour Squadron (No. 63 Squadron) RAF Regiment in July.
