Article posted: Jan 26, 2016 by Sqn Ldr Wilson

Last weekend, 4 cadets from Long Eaton Air Cadets went to 126 (Derby) Squadron ATC in order to practice their shooting and also to start training on the L98 rifle while waiting to shoot.
Over the weekend, the cadets’ aim was to improve their marksman skills and to try and get marksman badges, which involved getting a score of 75 over 4 targets.

All cadets tried their very best to refine and display their ability with the rifles. Cadet Corporal Jameson succeeded in gaining his marksman badge.

He said “I really enjoyed the weekend and I am very happy that I got my marksman, I’m looking forward to doing more shooting in the upcoming year”
