The following was written by Cadet Kiah Ashton:

“Myself and four other cadets from 2418 (Sherwood) Squadron were chosen to take part in the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) fundraiser.

The fundraising included collections in supermarkets as well as selling RAFA branded items to raising money. This money is going towards causes such as helping members of the armed forces to stay in contact with family and friends whilst they are away from home.

Personally I was named at the Squadron Presentation Evening on the 7th of February for raising the most money for the Association on our squadron. This meant a lot to me and I cannot wait until next year to help the association raise money for those that need it”.
