Last week saw cadets from across South and East Midlands Wing supporting the Trent Bridge Community Trust for the England V India Test Match at Trent Bridge cricket ground from 09th to 13th July 2014.

The day’s were long with the cadets getting there for 08.00 to start the day. The duties included meet n greet for the spectators, car park support, security support, queue busting and general “Happy to help” support for the ground staff.

Cadets from 348 (Ilkeston), 504 (West Nottingham), 2195 (Long Eaton), 2229 (Loughborough) and 2418 (Sherwood) Squadrons supported the event.

A great time was had by all and the feedback from both the public and the Trent Bridge team has been fantastic.

I wold like to send my personal thanks to all the cadets and staff who supported the event, they all worked extremely hard although as the photos below show, managed a bit of fun along the way too!

Roll on the one day game on 30th August and who knows, we might get a chance to support the Ashes in 2015!
