2071 took time out from their normal parade evening to take a trip to the RAF Wittering ten pin bowling alley where they celebrated their collective exam and recent project successes.
This was the first of the intra squadron bi-annual bowling competitions the next is already scheduled for after the November exams.
There was, of course, a trophy up for grabs. A damaged pin was found at the beginning of the year and Cadet Kieran Williams volunteered to get painting. Cadet Williams with help from his Father have produced a fantastic trophy for which the Squadron is very grateful!
All of the staff and cadets had a fun time and it was great to see everyone let off a little steam before Wing Field Day training really gets into full swing.
Of course had to be a winner for our new trophy, the results… in reverse order….
5th Place Cadet Nathanial Wilkinson with 173
4th Place Cadet Katherine Ager with 177
3rd Place Cadet Jordan Brackpool with 236
2nd Place Cadet Tyler Clarke with 250
And the winner was… Cadet Thomas Fry who bowled a high score of 261 over two games.
