Sun & Games at 1360 BBQ

Whilst most children were spending their Saturday watching television, the cadets of 1360 (Stapleford and Sandiacre) Squadron were enjoying themselves at a squadron barbeque, digging into burgers and hot dogs cooked by the gourmet chefs, the staff themselves.

The sun was shining so this meant the cadets and parents were able to top up their tans whilst competing in the squadron games organised such as cricket, football, ultimate Frisbee and a classic sea front game of how many cans can you knock down with a ball.
The barbeque was hosted in the squadron grounds; it turned out to be a huge hit thanks to everyone who attended.

Cadet George Meads (13) said “It was great to see all the parents and cadets come together to enjoy the lovely weather. I enjoyed demolishing a juicy cheese burger and maybe the odd cake. Overall a really good day”
