Winter Bag Pack

Article posted: Mar 12, 2012 by Flt Lt Waplington

Air Cadets from the 138 (1st Nottingham) squadron recently helped customers bag pack at Morrison’s supermarket in Grantham raising £571.
The Cadets worked extremely hard throughout the day helping customers to pack their shopping in order to raise much needed funds for the squadron, as well as creating awareness about the Air Cadets and the activities that are undertaken.

Corporal Gutsy said ‘The donations people have given have been generous and it was good to speak to different people.’
Sergeant Priest also commented, ‘It’s really good that cadets have taken their time out of there weekend to come together and raise much needed funds, there’s a great vibe here at the squadron and I’m looking forward to putting this money to good use for us all’.

Many thanks to the kind generosity of all who supported the squadron with their donations and to Morrison’s for their support.

The funds will go towards the new shooting range at the squadron.
